An employee who worked for a company by the name of Lender Processing Servicers has admitted that she signed thousands of sworn foreclosure documents with someone else's name. This is mortgage fraud. She was told that it was legal to perform these duties. Another employee who was working as a notary for Lender Processing Servicers admitted that she was notarizing up to one thousand signatures a day without often seeing anyone sign in front of her. When the employee's would ask their supervisors about signing documents by using other people's name they would be told that what they were doing is legal . They would also be told that "this person is going to be this person's surrogate signer because this person has a lot to do." These employee's have been investigated by FBI agents about how the processing works for Lender Processing Servicers. There is still an open investigation being conducted.
