Question:I had been on loan modification as my husband has no job and it is just me. I had paid the first payment and was ready to pay the 2nd when I found out my husband who is not on my bank account falsified my name and wrote a check leaving me not enough money to pay the nex. However, I am able to make these payment but only on the home modification plan Freddie Mac then did a so called modification with no deduction in interest, extended my loan 10 uears and only cut my payment by 410.00. This leaves me back at the beginning with no consideration of the interest I already paid, and leaving me set up for foreclosure again. They have not helped me at all. I know I was behing but something else could have been done.What can I do?
