UH OH MERS is In Trouble!

There seems to be a lot of negative information coming out about MERS, which is known as the mortgage electronic registration system.  MERS is currently under fire for conducting fraudulent activities with millions of homeowner's mortgages. MERS was recording the homeowner's mortgages in an illegal manner.  It has taken a very long time for state and federal courts to be aware of all the illegal activity that MERS has conducted. Finally, Judges throughout the United States are started to speak up.  Honorary Robert Grossman who is a United States Bankruptcy judge in New York stated that: "This Court does not accept the argument that because MERS may be involved with 50% of all residential mortgages in the country, that is reason enough for this Court to turn a blind eye to the fact that this process does not comply with the law."
