Will The Housing Crisis Be Over By The End of 2012

It is being predicted by Capital Economics Experts that the housing crisis should be over by the end of 2012.  The reason behind this theory is due to banks finally loosing up their credit standards. The average credit score that a potentially homeowner needs to have is 700.  This number has stayed the same for the last year.

The banks have loosened up on their underwriting standards. They are being more lenient with homeowner's loan to value ratios (LTV). The banks are lending up to 82% LTV, this is an increase from 74% back in 2010.  Banks are also lending up to 3.5 times more based on a homeowner's income.  These are all clear indications that we as a nation are moving in the right directions of ending the housing crisis.
